TIMO WEILAND. ON. THE. MONEY.

Rebellion, individuality, independence: at first glance, Timo Weiland takes us back to a post-punk era NYC when the girls wore their sheer black shirts and leather mini skirts to a No Wave Sonic Youth soundtrack. But look a little closer and you’ll notice the super-luxe detailing which makes these pieces modern and so right for now. Removable raccoon cuffs, plush fur trims, slinky velvet and flyaway silks lend the collection a more polished feel. There's a cool nineties undertone too with layered floral slip dresses, cropped plaid sweaters and velvet maxi skirts worn with ankle socks and leather boots. When it comes to the menswear, it’s all about the effortless wardrobe classics: Bradley Soileau’s neatly tailored trousers, chunky knit and smart button-down shirt might be fuss-free but together the effect is totally slick.
