By far the best Topshop Unique show to date thanks to ex-British-Vogue editor Kate Phelan who wasted no time whipping the label into shape. Gone are the in-your-face, fast-fashion pieces stamped with Dalmatian spots and Bananarama bows + hearts - and in their place, wearable, grungy separates with an urban utility mood. Trousers cut from wool and leather hang low at the hips while shirts and dresses slip off the shoulders just so - this is easy dressing for girls who like to look like they haven’t tried too hard. And those spiked-heel boots? They’re made to be worn with everything.
